Medical Records and Patient Confidentiality. The Parties agree that in the performance of any obligation set forth in this Section 7.01, the Parties shall protect the confidentiality of all patient records in accordance with the standards of all applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations relating to the patient records, specifically including the privacy requirements of the Administrative Simplification subtitle of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, as amended by the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act of 2009, and the regulations promulgated thereunder and state requirements and in compliance with any applicable BA Agreement.
