Medical Necessity of Services. Contractor shall provide only those services which are medically necessary and have been preauthorized in writing by the County’s Behavioral Health Director, or designee. Medical necessity shall be determined in accordance with guidelines established by the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) and the County.
