The Mechanical Operations clause defines the rules and responsibilities related to the use, maintenance, and operation of mechanical equipment or systems within a project or facility. (06/2012) Contractor or a designated Contractor’s Representative shall certify compliance with specific Contract and California Public Resources Code (CPRC) fire precautionary measures in H.1 Plans, K-H.2# and K-H.2.2#. Certification shall be provided prior to starting operations during Fire Precautionary Period and shall be updated as needed. Listing of specific fire precautionary measures in the following subsections is not intended to relieve Contractor in any way from compliance with State fire laws covering fire prevention and suppression equipment applicable to Contractor's Operations.
