Maximum Daily Morphine Milligram Equivalents. (MME). Contractor shall have prospective safety edits on maximum MMEs that can be prescribed to an Enrollee for treatment of chronic pain and an automated claims review process that indicates when an Enrollee is prescribed the morphine equivalent for such treatment in excess of Contractor’s established maximum MME dose limitation.
