Common use of Matters Covered Clause in Contracts

Matters Covered. This contract incorporates the sole and complete Agreement reached between the District and EAST resulting from negotiations held pursuant to the provisions of ORS 243.650 et seq. It is acknowledged that during negotiations which resulted in this Agreement, each and all had the unlimited right and opportunity to make demands and proposals with respect to any subject or matter appropriate for collective bargaining and that the understandings and agreements arrived at by the parties after the exercise of that right and opportunity are set forth in this Agreement. Neither party shall be required, during the term of this Agreement, to negotiate or bargain any issue except as provided in this Agreement. This Agreement shall not be modified in whole or in part except by another written instrument duly executed by the parties.
