Materials Testing Samples. (3 Nos. for each batch / lot / size of materials) for chemical, Tensile and Hardness should be supplied by vendor to SAC, Refer Figure-2. For the Qualification Job, Materials Testing Samples are not the pre-requisite and clearance will be given based on CoC/TC/IR of supplied materials from the manufacture. However, the vendor will submit the materials test samples along with the Qualification Job. a. Any non-conformances w.r.t. ASTM B 209 specifications of provided samples tested at SAC will be communicated to vendor. Only after getting approval from SAC further fabrication activities can be initiated. b. Sample test results shall be communicated to vendor. Tested & Accepted materials only to be used for fabrication.
