Materials Commitment; Authorization to Procure Materials Sample Clauses
The "Materials Commitment; Authorization to Procure Materials" clause establishes the contractor's authority to purchase or commit to purchasing materials necessary for the project. Typically, this clause outlines the conditions under which the contractor may order materials, such as requiring prior written approval from the client or specifying limits on the value or type of materials that can be procured in advance. By clearly defining when and how materials can be committed or procured, this clause helps prevent unauthorized expenditures and ensures that both parties are aligned on procurement decisions, thereby reducing the risk of disputes over costs or project scope.
