Managing Exceptions Clause Samples
The "Managing Exceptions" clause outlines the procedures and responsibilities for handling situations that deviate from the standard terms or processes set out in an agreement. Typically, this clause specifies how exceptions are identified, reported, and approved, and may require documentation or notification to relevant parties when an exception occurs. Its core practical function is to provide a clear framework for addressing unforeseen or irregular circumstances, ensuring that such deviations are managed consistently and transparently, thereby reducing confusion and mitigating potential disputes.
Managing Exceptions. Because each region is different, the region’s tri-team will need to come 21 up with a practice to manage individual exceptions for things like security or lack of available 22 parking. However, it is highly recommended that exceptions are kept to a minimum because 23 each one creates additional work for APS and adds an opportunity for error. It is recommended 24 that exceptions are approved by the DRD, APS and Collections Directors. 25 26 Creating the Staff Schedule: APS needs to identify drives that require staff meet at the central 27 location and travel to a blood drive using an ARC vehicle. To identify drives more than 90 miles 28 from the central location, APS/Collections will utilize the standard Hemasphere report “Travel 29 Time and Distance from Base by Drive – ARC National.” Drives requiring an overnight stay will 30 be identified as linked in Hemasphere. Once exceptions are identified, APS will manually staff 31 those blood drives and run auto staffing for the remainder of the schedule. 32
