A Makeup Policy clause outlines the rules and procedures for rescheduling or making up missed classes, sessions, or work. Makeup Policy. ● Typically no makeup lessons are offered. Please refer to the cancellation policy for information further information on missed lessons.
Makeup Policy. In order to see continual improvement in your child’s skill attainment and physical development, it is important that attendance be consistent. As a courtesy, students are allowed 2 make-up classes per month. After a class is missed, your account will be automatically assigned a make-up token. Make-up classes can be scheduled through the front desk within 7 days after the missed class and can be scheduled for no more than 30 days after. Cancellation of a make-up class or failure to show will result in a loss of that make-up class. Make-up classes cannot be rescheduled. Recreational students (Beginning Gymnastics – Level 4) may schedule a make-up in one of the two designated make-up classes or use an Open Gym/Open Gym Night as a make-up. Preschool/Kinder students may schedule a make-up class in a class of the same level that has an opening. Make-ups are not a guarantee and are subject to class availability. Make-ups must be completed within a month or can be used at any Indoor Park. The LUGA make-up policy only applies to our Recreational and Preschool/Kinder students. Make-up classes must be utilized while the child’s enrollment is still active and cannot be completed after the student has dropped from our program. If a student drops from a class, all make-up classes will be immediately forfeited. Some holiday closings will result in a make-up class while others will not. It is not required that you notify us of an absence in advance, but we do appreciate it.
Makeup Policy. ● Should a student need to cancel a lesson, they must do so at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson. If the student does not notify the teacher prior to missing the lesson, the teacher will not be obligated to record their make up lesson. Emergencies will be accommodated as needed but is up to the discretion of the teacher. ● If the student provides 24 hour notice of missing a lesson, the teacher will offer to record a makeup lesson during that student’s scheduled time. The video will be sent to the student to review before the next lesson. ● The teacher is not obligated to offer to reschedule a lesson or issue reimbursement for a missed lesson. The video makeup lesson is designed to take the place of the in-person lesson so that the student does not feel at a loss financially.

You will need to sign up for your makeup day in advance. Failure to attend a scheduled makeup class will result in makeup forfeiture.
