Maintenance Choice. For maintenance medications, after the initial first two fills, all fills can only be filled at a CVS retail pharmacy or through the CVS/Caremark Mail Service Pharmacy.
Maintenance Choice. The Maintenance Choice program allows the initial 30-day dispensing of Maintenance Covered Drugs plus one 30-day refill through Retail Dispensing. For as long as the Member is enrolled in this product, subsequent refills of the maintenance medication are covered only through Mail Service or at CVS Pharmacies. A maintenance medication is taken regularly for chronic conditions or long-term therapy (e.g., medications for managing high blood pressure, asthma or high cholesterol).
