Main Switches. Each switch shall have a rated normal current of 630 A. Each switch equipment shall have a rated short-circuit making capacity and short-t time rating equivalent to 1500 MVA at 33 KV. The rated short-circuit making capacity and rated short-time current shall apply when operated to the “ON” and “Earth ON” positions. The operating mechanisms and inter locks shall be in accordance to the ENA 41-12 as appropriate. Testing facilities shall be provided for carrying out test on the feeder connected to the switch. Each switch shall be complete with cable box suitable for accepting cable with (300-500) mm2 cross-sections, Al \ XLPE, 3/single cores 33 KV, and and 3 core 33kv cables having cross section of (3x120-3x300) mm2 AL, XLPE.

Main Switches. Air break switches, disconnectors and MCCB's shall be used as appropriate. They shall be designed and rated in accordance with IEC 60408 and IEC 60947-2 as appropriate for the LV system symmetrical fault rating, and shall be capable of breaking rated load current. Interlocking shall be provided to prevent access to the interior of the unit unless in the "off" position. Padlocking facilities shall be provided to enable the device to be locked in the "off" position and also, where applicable, in the "earth" or "test" positions. The position of contacts shall be externally visible. Alternatively positively linked externally visible mechanical indication for the "on", "off" and, where applicable, "earth" positions may be provided subject to full details being submitted and approved by the Engineer. Fuse switches and switch fuses may be used only with the approval of the Engineer. The maximum size of fuse to be used in a fuse switch or switch fuse shall be indicated on the rating plate.

  • Tandem Switching 4.3.1 The Tandem Switching capability Network Element is defined as: (i) trunk- connect facilities, which include, but are not limited to, the connection between trunk termination at a cross connect panel and switch trunk card; (ii) the basic switch trunk function of connecting trunks to trunks; and (iii) the functions that are centralized in the Tandem Switches (as distinguished from separate end office switches), including but not limited to call recording, the routing of calls to operator services and signaling conversion features.

  • Radios The Contractor or its employees shall not use any of the two-way radios or special telecommunications equipment under any circumstances. No exceptions will be made to this rule. Violation is grounds for immediate termination of this Contract, as well as punitive action.

  • Local Switching BellSouth shall provide non-discriminatory access to local circuit switching capability, and local tandem switching capability, on an unbundled basis, except as set forth below in Section 3.1.3 to Mpower for the provision of a telecommunications service.   • Switching All of the negotiated rates, terms and conditions set forth in this Section pertain to the provision of local and tandem switching.

  • SPRINKLER SYSTEM If there now is or shall be installed in the Building a "sprinkler system", and such system or any of its appliances shall be damaged or injured or not in proper working order by reason of any act or omission of Tenant, Tenant's agents, servants, employees, licensees or visitors, Tenant shall forthwith restore the same to good working condition at its own expense; and if the New York Board of Fire Underwriters or the New York Fire Insurance Rating Organization or any bureau, department or official of the state or city government, shall require or recommend that any changes, modifications, alterations or additional sprinkler heads or other equipment be made or supplied by reason of Tenant's business, or the location of the partitions, trade fixtures, or other contents of the Premises, Tenant shall, at Tenant's expense, promptly make and supply such changes, modifications, alterations, additional sprinkler heads or other equipment.

  • Network Upgrades The Transmission Owner shall design, procure, construct, install, and own the Network Upgrades described in Attachment 6 of this Agreement. If the Transmission Owner and the Interconnection Customer agree, the Interconnection Customer may construct Network Upgrades that are located on land owned by the Interconnection Customer. Unless the Transmission Owner elects to pay for Network Upgrades, the actual cost of the Network Upgrades, including overheads, shall be borne initially by the Interconnection Customer.

  • Sprinklers Subject to any terms, conditions and limitations set forth herein, Landlord shall provide an operative sprinkler system consisting of mains, laterals, and heads “AS IS” on the date of delivery of the Premises to Tenant. Tenant shall pay for piping distribution, drops and relocation of, or additional, sprinkler system heads and Building firehose or firehose valve cabinets, if Tenant’s Plans and/or any applicable Laws necessitate such.
