MAIL DELIVERY. United States mail which is received by the University bearing an employee name and accurate address will be placed in the employee mailboxes in the normal manner. In departments where employee mailboxes exist, the union shall have reasonable use of them. In departments where individual mailboxes are in a restricted work area, UPTE may make arrangements with the responsible University official in the restricted work area to have the UPTE mail placed in the employee mailboxes. Where mailboxes do not exist for employees, the University will distribute UPTE mail to employees by the normal method.

MAIL DELIVERY. Notices which are mailed to the receiving party shall be mailed by first class mail with registered or certified, return receipt requested, postage prepaid. Such notice shall be deemed to have been duly given and received three (3) calendar days after being deposited with the United States mail.

MAIL DELIVERY. Mail and items shipped to students by common carrier will be accepted by the College Village staff as an accommodation to residents. College Village does not accept liability for damage or loss (even as a result of negligence) of any such article. Students should not have cash or items of significant value sent to the apartments. Students will receive 24-hour notice if mail cannot be delivered on any given day. Mail and package service will be limited to Monday thru Friday, and may be limited during College break periods, and College holidays. Students must provide an updated home address at the end of the term, and are responsible for having mail sent to this address upon leaving College Village, as the USPS will not forward student mail.

In locations where Nurse mailboxes exist, the Association shall have reasonable use of them. At each medical center, the University shall provide a secure mail drop for use by the Association and Nurses. Nurse Representatives shall have the right to use their University e-mail account for the purposes of conducting Association business authorized under Article 27, Grievance Procedure.
