Common use of Lump Sum Severance Payment Clause in Contracts

Lump Sum Severance Payment. In lieu of any further compensation payments to Xxxxx for periods subsequent to the Date of Termination, RAI shall pay to Xxxxx a lump sum severance payment, in cash, without discount, equal to the sum of the total amount payable to Xxxxx under this Agreement until expiration of the term then in effect, assuming that Xxxxx'x total compensation for each year would be equal to the Average Compensation.
