Long Weekends Clause Samples
The 'Long Weekends' clause defines how weekends that are extended by adjacent public holidays are treated within the context of the agreement. Typically, this clause specifies whether such long weekends are considered as regular non-working days, how they affect scheduling, or if any special provisions apply to work, deadlines, or obligations falling on these days. For example, it may clarify that if a deadline falls on a long weekend, it is automatically extended to the next business day. The core function of this clause is to ensure clarity and prevent disputes regarding obligations or scheduling that might otherwise be affected by extended weekends.
