Locks; Keys Clause Samples
The "Locks; Keys" clause establishes the rules and responsibilities regarding the use, distribution, and return of keys and locks for a property or premises. Typically, it specifies who is authorized to possess keys, outlines procedures for issuing or duplicating keys, and details requirements for returning all keys at the end of a lease or contract. This clause helps ensure the security of the property by controlling access and provides a clear process for handling keys, thereby reducing the risk of unauthorized entry or disputes over lost or unreturned keys.
