Common use of Lock Replacement Clause in Contracts

Lock Replacement. The insurance by this section extends to indemnify you for the reasonable cost of replacing external locks or safe or strong room locks at the premises following theft of keys from the premises, the insured person’s home, or following a hold-up while the keys are in your personal custody or that of any authorised employee, except that we will not be liable for any amount in excess of £5,000 any one occurrence.
