Common use of Local Laws and Export Control Clause in Contracts

Local Laws and Export Control. 12.1 The Services and Content may be subject to export laws and regulations of the United States and other jurisdictions. Each party represents that it is not named on any U.S. government denied-party list. The Customer shall not permit Users to access or use any Service or Content in a U.S.-embargoed country (currently Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan or Syria) or in violation of any U.S. export law or regulation. 12.2 The Service is accessible through the public cloud. Fairsail and its licensors make no representation or warranty that the Service is appropriate or available for use in jurisdictions not compatible with accessibility through the public cloud. 12.3 The Service has been designed to be highly configurable as set out in the User Guides. It is the responsibility of the Customer to ensure that the configuration of the Service it adopts is appropriate for use in each local territory where the Service is used.
