LOAD MANAGEMENT. 6.1 Distributor may control load: Subject to clause 5.3, if the Distributor provides a Price Category or Tariff Option that provides a non-continuous level of service by allowing the Distributor to control part of, or all of, the Consumer’s load (a "Controlled Load Option"), and the Consumer elects to take up the Retailer’s corresponding price option that incorporates the Controlled Load Option, the Distributor may control the relevant part of the Consumer’s load in accordance with this clause 6 and schedule 8.

LOAD MANAGEMENT. 7.1 Distributor may control load: Subject to clause 6.3, if the Distributor provides a Price Category or Tariff Option or enters into any other arrangement that provides a non- continuous level of service by allowing the Distributor to control part of, or all of, the Consumer’s load (a "Controlled Load Option") through the Distributor’s load control equipment as part of Metering Equipment, and the Consumer elects to take up the Retailer’s corresponding price option (or other consideration) that incorporates the Controlled Load Option, the Distributor may control the relevant part of the Consumer’s load in accordance with this clause 7 and schedule 7, and the Retailer will not enter into any arrangement with the Consumer or any third party in relation to (either directly or indirectly) the control of such load.
LOAD MANAGEMENT. In some cases, the owner may have had installed, or you may choose to have installed, a load management system from the power company in order to lower your electrical bills. These systems will automatically control your heat pump and water heater, sometimes turning them off completely. If you have this system, and you notice that your heat pump or water heater are not working, check first to be sure that the power company has not turned them off temporarily in order to save power. If we send a service person out to repair these items when they were off because of a load management system, you will be responsible for the bill for the service call.
