Line Sizing Sample Clauses

Line Sizing. All process lines shall be sized in accordance with process requirements and good engineering practice. Liquid lines will be sized large enough to avoid excessive velocity. For design purposes, a safety factor of 10% will be included in the pressure drop calculations of major process lines. Pump suction and discharge lines and equipment shall be designed for the maximum pressures and temperatures to which they will be subjected by the pump at the design flow plus 10% flow, including deadhead condition. Geofluid piping shall be sized for the design flow rate plus 10%, with 1/8” (0.125”) of rough geothermal scale on the pipe walls. Design Criteria - RR EPC Contract, Exhibit C Rev 0 – 12/05/05
