Limits on redemption Sample Clauses
The "Limits on redemption" clause sets boundaries on how and when investors or shareholders can redeem, or cash out, their interests in a fund or company. Typically, this clause may specify minimum holding periods, maximum amounts that can be redeemed within a certain timeframe, or require advance notice before redemption requests are honored. By establishing these restrictions, the clause helps maintain the stability and liquidity of the entity, preventing sudden large withdrawals that could disrupt operations or financial planning.
Limits on redemption. (a) Your right to redeem Units in a Fund may be restricted by certain circumstances (depending on the feature and terms of the Fund). In other words, there is a risk that Units in a Fund may be difficult to (purchase or) sell depending on those circumstances.
(b) A Fund could contain Units that do not permit dealing every day. Investment in such funds will only be realisable on their respective dealing days. The appropriate market price of these investments can only be determined on the relevant Fund’s dealing days.
Limits on redemption. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in this Agreement (including but not limited to Section 6 of this Agreement), the Partnership and the General Partner shall not be permitted to redeem the Class A-1 Units until June 28, 2021 or later.
