Common use of Limitation on Rights of Tenant Clause in Contracts

Limitation on Rights of Tenant. As long as any Superior Lease or Mortgage shall exist, Tenant shall not seek to terminate this Lease by reason of any act or omission of Landlord until Tenant shall have given written notice of such act or omission to all Superior Lessors and Mortgagees at such addresses as shall have been furnished to Tenant by such Superior Lessors and Mortgagees and, if any such Superior Lessor or Mortgagee, as the case may be, shall have notified Tenant within ten (10) business days following receipt of such notice of its intention to remedy such act or omission, until a reasonable period of time shall have elapsed following the giving of such notice (but not to exceed sixty (60) days), during which period such Superior Lessors and Mortgagees shall have the right, but not the obligation, to remedy such act or omission. The foregoing shall not, however, be deemed to impose upon Landlord any obligations not otherwise expressly set forth in this Lease.
