Limitation on Consequential and Other Damages Clause Samples
The Limitation on Consequential and Other Damages clause restricts the types of damages that one party can recover from the other in the event of a contract breach. Typically, this clause prevents claims for indirect losses such as lost profits, loss of business opportunities, or reputational harm, focusing recovery only on direct damages that result immediately from the breach. By setting these boundaries, the clause helps both parties manage their risk exposure and provides predictability regarding potential liabilities.
