Lighting Design. The PROFESSIONAL will utilize basemapping and design from the roadway improvements portion of the project. Use the decorative pole and fixture selected, by the PROFESSIONAL and the CLIENT to analyze lighting along the PROJECT limits to determine light pole locations and quantities. The PROFESSIONAL will provide analysis to the CLIENT for concurrence of locations and lighting levels. The PROFESSIONAL will utilize approved lighting locations to design roadway lighting. Design to include power source location and electrical connections to all light poles. Design will include the necessary plan sheet(s), notes, quantities, specifications, layout, details, and cost opinion to construct the lighting system. Coordination with Streetscape design is included.
Lighting Design. 1. The scope of services for this item will be performed by a subconsultant to CONSULTANT and is attached as Exhibit 2.

Lighting Design. The City has provided as-constructed drawings of the existing lights. The ornamental lights now have LED bulbs that have been more recently installed. KLJ will develop plan sheets showing permanent lighting required to refurbish/replace existing ornamental and architectural lighting along the project corridors. The City is researching options with suppliers. Lighting design shall meet NDDOT and AASHTO lighting requirements and standards. Existing foundations, conduit, and conductors will be utilized where possible. Capacity of the existing wiring will be verified if it is reused. Banners and/or Hanging Baskets If desired by the City and Streetscape Steering Committee, new banners, flags or hanging baskets may be included in the project. Appropriate light poles and brackets will be selected that can handle all loading requirements. If existing lights poles are used, they will be reviewed to ensure they meet any anticipated loading requirements.
Lighting Design. K. The CONSULTANT shall prepare ornamental lighting plans and coordinate electrical service connection points with the utility. It is assumed based on illumination to light the 10 ft. wide trail, trail crossings, and the improved intersection only in accordance with the requirements of the City of West Lafayette and/or INDOT. All light poles and luminaries will be ornamental and types will be as recommended by the City. The other lighting and structural design of foundation in special condition are not included in this fee proposal but will be supplemented in future if needed. Lighting Design. Lighting design will be completed for the conceptual layout of adding one light to the north, west, and south approaches in the splitter islands. An existing light in the median of the east approach will also need to be moved slightly due to a potential conflict with the roundabout design geometry. Lighting design will consist of the following activities: ▪ Photometrics will be ran based on the layout of existing and proposed lights described above. Desired luminaires, poles, and mast-arms will be provided by the City. ▪ Mounting height and mast-arm length will be designed to meet lighting criteria of the NCHRP 672 based on the layout of existing and proposed lights described above. ▪ Electrical design including wiring, voltage drop calculations, and service point. ▪ Develop lighting detail sheets for lighting network layout, and special details. ▪ Coordinate type and location of service point with electric provider. ▪ Prepare quantities of all lighting elements and a construction cost opinion.   • Program Design The County Human Resources Department will operate a Catastrophic Leave Bank which is designed to assist any County employee who has exhausted all paid accruals due to a serious or catastrophic illness, injury, or condition of the employee or family member. The program establishes and maintains a Countywide bank wherein any employee who wishes to contribute may authorize that a portion of his/her accrued vacation, compensatory time, holiday compensatory time or floating holiday be deducted from those account(s) and credited to the Catastrophic Leave Bank. Employees may donate hours either to a specific eligible employee or to the bank. Upon approval, credits from the Catastrophic Leave Bank may be transferred to a requesting employee's sick leave account so that employee may remain in paid status for a longer period of time, thus partially ameliorating the financial impact of the illness, injury, or condition. Catastrophic illness or injury is defined as a critical medical condition, a long-term major physical impairment or disability which manifests itself during employment.

  • Plan Design The flexible benefits plan is a cafeteria-style benefits program wherein the County makes a contribution toward the Flexible Benefits Plan for each eligible employee to be allocated during the employee's active employment. The County contribution is distributed by the employee among the menu of benefit options listed below, the specific details and administration of which are set forth in the plan brochures: "Core" Benefits: • Health insurance • County basic life and AD&D insurance Optional Benefits: • Dental insurance • Vision insurance • Supplemental life insurance • Supplemental accidental death and dismemberment insurance (AD&D) • Flexible spending accounts for pre-tax reimbursement of qualified medical and/or dependent day care expenses.   • Release of Design Plan The Engineer (1) will not release any roadway design plan created or collected under this contract except to its subproviders as necessary to complete the contract; (2) shall include a provision in all subcontracts which acknowledges the State’s ownership of the design plan and prohibits its use for any use other than the project identified in this contract; and (3) is responsible for any improper use of the design plan by its employees, officers, or subproviders, including costs, damages, or other liability resulting from improper use. Neither the Engineer nor any subprovider may charge a fee for the portion of the design plan created by the State.

  • Lighting A system of fixtures providing or controlling the light sources used on or near the airport or within the airport buildings. The field lighting includes all luminous signals, markers, floodlights, and illuminating devices used on or near the airport or to aid in the operation of aircraft landing at, taking off from, or taxiing on the airport surface.

  • Study Design This includes a discussion of the evaluation design employed including research questions and hypotheses; type of study design; impacted populations and stakeholders; data sources; and data collection; analysis techniques, including controls or adjustments for differences in comparison groups, controls for other interventions in the State and any sensitivity analyses, and limitations of the study.

  • Final Design A.4.1. Provide OWNER with proposed final construction drawings and detailed opinions of probable total Project construction costs in writing for OWNER' s review, prior to completion of the final Contract Documents, so that any changes that may be necessary in accordance with Project' s budgetary schedule can be made prior to bid.
