Lifting Procedures Clause Samples
The Lifting Procedures clause defines the rules and requirements for safely conducting lifting operations on a worksite. It typically outlines the necessary qualifications for personnel, the inspection and maintenance of lifting equipment, and the planning and supervision required before any lifting activity begins. For example, it may require that only certified operators handle cranes or that a detailed lift plan be approved for complex lifts. The core function of this clause is to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries by ensuring that all lifting activities are performed safely and in compliance with relevant standards.
