Licensor Restrictions Sample Clauses
The Licensor Restrictions clause defines the limitations and obligations placed on the party granting a license, typically regarding how they may use, distribute, or modify the licensed material. This clause may specify that the licensor cannot grant the same rights to other parties, must refrain from using the intellectual property in certain ways, or is prohibited from disclosing confidential information related to the license. Its core function is to protect the licensee’s interests by preventing the licensor from undermining the value of the license or creating conflicts through overlapping rights.
