Licensee Export Clause Samples

The Licensee Export clause governs the conditions under which the licensee may export products, technology, or information covered by the agreement. Typically, it requires the licensee to comply with all applicable export control laws and regulations, such as those imposed by the United States or other relevant jurisdictions. For example, the licensee may need to obtain government approvals before exporting certain software or technical data. This clause ensures that both parties avoid legal liability by clarifying the licensee’s responsibility to adhere to export restrictions and prevent unauthorized transfers.
