Common use of Licensed Materials Clause in Contracts

Licensed Materials. The materials as described in Schedule 1 as may be amended from time to time by agreement between the parties. The materials may include but are not limited to journal articles, databases, e-books, author-supplied accompanying and supplementary data, graphical representations, surveys, audio-visual content, and in-press and pre-publication versions. Each member of the Consortium, as listed in Schedule 3. Online services designed to preserve and provide open access to journal article reprints or preprints, audio, video and other media, and/or digital data. Repositories may be maintained by, but not limited to, an author’s employing institution, an academic consortium, a discipline-based entity, or a governmental funding agency. Continued access, archiving and use of Licensed Materials that survives any termination of the License Agreement and ensures continued access consistent with the then current standards in the publishing industry.
