Common use of Liability of Signatories Clause in Contracts

Liability of Signatories. If the Recipient is an unincorporated organization, it is understood and agreed by the persons signing this Agreement on behalf of the Recipient that, in signing this Agreement in their capacity of representatives of the Recipient, they shall be personally, jointly and severally liable for all obligations of the Recipient under this Agreement, including payment of any debt that may become owed to the City.
