Common use of Level 2 Substitute Clause in Contracts

Level 2 Substitute. a. A substitute is a Level 2 substitute on or after his/her 30th day of service in a single school year in the District. Once Level 2 is reached, the substitute must work a minimum of thirty (30) days in the following school year to maintain Level 2. Otherwise, the substitute returns to Level 1 for the subsequent school year. b. A Level 2 substitute shall have the right to progressive discipline steps described in Section B, below. c. A Level 2 substitute shall be paid at the Level 2 pay rate stated on Miscellaneous Certificated Compensation (Appendix B-3).
