Less Than One Day. If there will be no extra expense to the District, and the employee’s 22 assignment can be covered without interruption to the District operation, employees may be 23 given time off during the day to take care of pressing personal matters. Requests shall be made 24 to the employee’s immediate supervisor who may approve the request or deny the same if in 25 the supervisor’s judgment the criteria found in this section cannot be met.
