LEGISLATIVE PARTNERSHIP. The Employer and the Union jointly recognize that elected officials and state regulators make decisions about Long Term Care standards and funding. We believe families and workers need to be heard during the legislative process. The Employer has a stake in the legislative process in order to maintain and increase funding necessary to operate its facility according to the highest standards. We recognize that without proper funding, providing optimum care is nearly impossible.
