Legal system; place of jurisdiction. German law applies to the pre-contractual legal relationship between the Customer and Trade Republic, to the conclusion of the contract and to the business relationship between the Customer and Trade Republic. Under Article 6(2) of Regulation (EC) No. 593/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 June 2008 the Customer may also enjoy the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where they have their habitual residence. The statutory places of jurisdiction apply.
