Lead Optimization Program Clause Samples
The Lead Optimization Program clause defines the framework and procedures for advancing promising chemical or biological compounds, known as leads, toward candidate selection for further development. Typically, this clause outlines the responsibilities of each party in conducting research, setting milestones, and sharing data or resources during the optimization phase. Its core function is to ensure a structured and collaborative approach to refining leads, thereby increasing the likelihood of identifying viable candidates for subsequent stages and reducing inefficiencies or misunderstandings in the process.
Lead Optimization Program. “Lead Optimization Program” shall mean the formation by Amgen of a program to perform all activities directed to the optimization of a Lead for purposes of identifying a clinical candidate and filing an IND.
