Common use of LAWS OF THE NETHERLANDS; DISPUTES Clause in Contracts

LAWS OF THE NETHERLANDS; DISPUTES. The relations between the Customer and the Bank shall be governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes between the Customer and the Bank shall be brought before the competent Netherlands Court, unless the law or international conventions contain a mandatory provision to the contrary. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if the Bank is acting as the plaintiff the Bank shall be entitled to bring disputes before the foreign court having competence to decide disputes involving the Customer. Notwithstanding the foregoing, if the Customer is acting as the plaintiff the Customer shall be entitled to refer disputes to any Consumer Disputes Committee or Committee of Good Offices to whose competence the Bank has submitted, within the limits of the rules governing the Committee in question.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, if the Customer is acting as the plaintiff the Customer shall be entitled to refer disputes to any Consumer Disputes Committee or Committee of Good Offices to whose competence the Bank has submitted, within the limits of the rules governing the Committee in question.
