Law Changes. To the extent that any payment under this Agreement is deemed to be deferred compensation subject to the requirements of section 409A of the Code, this Agreement shall be administered so that such payments will be made in accordance with the requirements of section 409A of the Code.
Law Changes. If federal or state laws, rules, regulations, or administrative rules are modified, changed, or interpreted in such a way that Lottery Tickets or Shares are no longer available for purchase under this Contract or are no longer eligible for the compensation authorized by this Contract.
Law Changes. The parties agree to cooperate in amending the County Business Income Tax or the City Business License Tax Law to ensure uniformity and consistency in these respective codes and in administration. Both parties to this Agreement agree to notify the other of any intent to make changes, whether in the law or in the tax or fee rates, at least thirty (30) days prior to adopting the change. If both parties mutually agree to make changes, such changes may take effect in less than the thirty (30) days required. Both parties acknowledge that if changes are made to one code and not the other, administrative costs may increase as a result.
Law Changes. If any provision of this Agreement or any application of this Agreement to any employee or group or employees is held to be contrary to law by a court of competent jurisdiction then such provision or application shall not be deemed valid and subsisting, except to the extent permitted by law; but all other provisions or applications shall continue in full force effect.
Law Changes. If changes are made in any of the statutes or regulations applicable to the Community prior to the completion of construction of the Community, we shall have the right to cancel this Agreement or submit to you a revised Agreement based on the changes in the law.

In the event that, following the Commencement Date any new Laws or changes in existing Laws are adopted which require modifications, alterations or additions to the improvements (collectively, “Law Changes”), Tenant shall cause such Law Changes to be made promptly and diligently, and Tenant shall be solely responsible for the costs relating to such Law Changes if such Law Changes relate to (a) Tenant’s specific use or operation of the Premises or any change in Tenant’s use and operation of the Premises, (b) an alteration or modification to the Premises made by or at the direction of Tenant, (c) any act or omission of Tenant or any Tenant Parties. Such changes that are Tenant’s responsibility hereunder shall be performed in accordance with the terms of this Lease, including Section 11 hereof. In the event of any Law Changes that require a capital improvement (as determined in accordance with GAAP to be made to the Premises and that relate to the Premises or the occupation of the Premises in general (as opposed to the specific use of the Premises by Tenant or other permitted occupant where none of the circumstances described in (a) through (c) of the first sentence above are applicable) (the “Law Change Capital Improvement”), then Landlord shall be
Law Changes. This Agreement shall be construed by reference to Section 1031 of the Code and the regulations thereunder, as amended from time to time following the date of this Agreement, except to the extent that future changes in the law alter the economic relationship of Exchanger and Intermediary hereunder. If future amendments to the Code or regulations thereunder result in a provision cited or referred to herein being renumbered, this Agreement shall be construed as referring to such renumbered provision.
Law Changes. If changes are made in any of the statutes or regulations applicable to this Agreement prior to your occupancy of the Apartment, we shall have the right to terminate this Agreement or submit to you a revised Agreement based on the changes in the law, and you agree to accept any such revisions which do not adversely affect you.
Law Changes. The County intends to maintain conformity with the Metro Supportive Housing Services personal income tax to facilitate administration processes and ease process burden for taxpayers. The County agrees to cooperate in amending the PFA PIT to ensure uniformity and consistency in the respective codes and in administration. The County agrees to notify the City and Metro of any intent to make changes, whether in the law or in the tax or fee rates, at least 30 days before adopting the change. The County acknowledges that if material administrative changes are made to one code and not the other, administrative costs may increase as a result.
