A Late Fee Policy clause establishes the conditions under which a party will be charged additional fees for failing to make payments on time. Typically, this clause specifies the amount or percentage of the late fee, the grace period (if any) before the fee is applied, and the method of calculation. Its core practical function is to incentivize timely payments and compensate the receiving party for the inconvenience or financial impact of delayed payments.
Late Fee Policy. If you don't pay rent on or before the 5th day of the month, you will pay an initial late charge of $25 plus a late charge $5 per day after that date until paid in full. You will also pay a charge of $50 for each returned check or rejected electronic payment plus the initial and daily late charges from the due date until we receive acceptable payment, and if not remedied with a money order within 10 days will be turned over to the prosecutor's office. Your TOTAL rent payment must be received by this office on or before the 5th of each month.

(▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇) offers to residential tenants a subscription-based billing authorization service (the “Obligo Service”) which may be used in the place of a security deposit. Landlord permits qualifying Tenants to subscribe to the Obligo Service in lieu of payment of a Security Deposit. If Tenant is approved for the Obligo Service, then Landlord agrees to accept Tenant’s subscription to the Obligo Service in place of payment of the Security Deposit, subject to the following: (1) If Landlord makes any Claims under this Lease then Tenant agrees to pay Obligo Inc. via the Obligo Service in an amount equal to any such Claims, (2) if the Obligo Service terminates for any reason, Tenant agrees to pay the Security Deposit amount stated in this Lease to Landlord within thirty (30) days of such termination, and (3) Tenant agrees not to do or omit to do anything that will constitute a breach of the terms applicable to the Obligo Service or that amount to a termination of Tenant’s subscription prior to the end of the Lease Term without Landlord’s prior written consent. Late Fee Policy. All children must be picked up by 5:00 PM on attendance days. There is an extra charge of $15 for the first 15 minutes and $25 per hour for late pick-up upon each incident. All new registrants can register the child with $100 non-refundable registration fee. If your child does not attend the childcare as agreed upon, this fee is non-refundable. A deposit equivalent to one month’s fees is required at the time of registration.
