Lapse Date Clause Samples

The Lapse Date clause defines the specific date on which an offer, agreement, or right will expire if not acted upon. In practice, this means that if the relevant party does not accept the offer, exercise the right, or fulfill a required action by the lapse date, the opportunity is automatically withdrawn and becomes void. This clause ensures that all parties are aware of the time limitations involved, promoting timely decision-making and preventing indefinite obligations or open-ended offers.
