Languages Used. ‌ With the aim of creating job opportunities both locally and on an international level, the program makes a balanced use of three different languages – Italian, German and English. Overall course study is based on at least a 25% use of each language. That means that classes may be held in any of the three languages, which are considered the ZeLIG’s official languages. One of the requirements for admission to ▇▇▇▇▇’s three-year program in documentary filmmaking is linguistic proficiency: ▇▇▇▇▇ students must be able to understand and communicate in all three of school’s official languages. The admissions exam requires B2-level knowledge (comprehension and communication) of two of the school’s official languages, and A1-level knowledge of the third language. At which point, students must strive to improve their skills in their weakest language area, before and during the first year of studies. As part of the first year’s final exam, and in order to be admitted to the second year of the program, students must show their ability as regards comprehension and communications skills at B1 level in the third language.
