Knowledge Assessment. The Knowledge Assessment task of the Self-Evaluation is to collect information from the City of Anaheim employees to assess their understanding of the Americans with Disability Act and how it pertains to your city’s programs, services, activities, communications, and websites. Additionally, employees will be assessed on their interactions with individuals with disabilities. We use two methods to gather this information using Management Surveys and Staff Surveys. The management surveys will be delivered to 12 key stakeholders to best understand their knowledge of the ADA both Title I and Title II, consisting of 12 pointed questions. The staff survey is a thirty 30 question, anonymous questionnaire used to understand the employee’s knowledge of the ADA along with their understanding of the City of Anaheim’s programs, services and activities. A report is provided detailing the knowledge assessment results in addition to recommendations for training modules for the City of Anaheim’s staff.
