Common use of Knowledge and Ability Clause in Contracts

Knowledge and Ability. Requires a thorough knowledge of aircraft materials, shop methods and practices, aircraft standards, use of manuals, theory of flight, operation of engines, airframe and airframe accessory overhaul, applicable regulations concerning the assembly, repair, overhaul and operation of all types of aircraft services by the Company. Requires a working knowledge of engine accessories, overhaul procedures and practices. Requires a certificate from a recognized college or institution outlining courses taken, marks attained and hours of trade credits, and/or confirmation of practical trade credits and experience obtained from other sources.
