Key Handover Clause Samples
The Key Handover clause defines the process and timing for transferring possession of keys from one party to another, typically at the start or end of a lease or property transaction. It outlines who is responsible for delivering and receiving the keys, specifies the condition in which the keys should be provided, and may set out procedures for documenting the handover, such as signing a receipt or inventory. This clause ensures a clear and documented transfer of access, helping to prevent disputes over possession and responsibility for the property.
