JOC Task Order Proposal Modification Clause Samples
The JOC Task Order Proposal Modification clause establishes the process for making changes to a previously submitted or approved Job Order Contract (JOC) task order proposal. This clause typically outlines the circumstances under which modifications can be requested, the procedures for submitting revised proposals, and the approval steps required before changes take effect. By providing a structured method for adjusting task order proposals, this clause ensures that both parties can address changes in project scope, unforeseen conditions, or updated requirements in a controlled and documented manner, thereby reducing disputes and maintaining project alignment.
JOC Task Order Proposal Modification. The Contractor will be granted only one opportunity to add new, valid line items that may have been omitted from its first Proposal by submitting a second, revised Proposal. The Contractor agrees to submit the revised Proposal within forty-eight (48) hours of the initial Proposal review meeting, unless otherwise specified in writing. Upon review of the revised Proposal, the Contractor agrees to remove all line items or adjust quantities deemed inappropriate by the County, and re-submit its Proposal within twenty-four (24) hours. No new line items may be added to the revised Proposal, nor may quantities be increased, nor modifiers added unless specifically agreed to in writing by the County’s subsequent Proposal review.
