Jetty Sample Clauses

A Jetty clause in a contract designates a specific location or structure, such as a dock or pier, that is relevant to the agreement, often in the context of shipping, logistics, or property use. This clause typically outlines the rights and responsibilities of the parties regarding the use, maintenance, or access to the jetty, and may specify conditions for loading, unloading, or mooring vessels. Its core practical function is to clearly allocate responsibilities and prevent disputes related to the use and upkeep of the jetty, ensuring smooth operations and minimizing potential conflicts.

No charge shall be imposed by the Authority for the use of the jetty for dredging or for the removal by any means of the shell sand to the Company’s works on the works site. In the event of the jetty being used for any other purposes under this subclause charges will be made at reasonable rates to be arranged between the Company and the Authority.
