Issuance of a Duplicate Certificate of Origin. In the event of theft, loss or destruction of a Certificate of Origin, the exporter may apply to the qualified entity for a certified duplicate to be made on the basis of the export documents. A certified duplicate shall bear the words “CERTIFIED TRUE COPY”. The duplicate certificate of origin shall bear the date of issue of the original certificate and be valid one year from that date.
