Common use of Introduction and Interpretation Clause in Contracts

Introduction and Interpretation. 1.1 Motif is a member of a group involved in drug discovery and development which requires advisory and consultancy services in relation to the general affairs of the company, including advice on strategic partnership development. 1.2 Amphion is willing and able to provide such advisory and consulting services to Motif. 1.3 Motif wishes Amphion to provide the Services to Motif on the terms and conditions set out in this Agreement and Amphion agrees to provide the Services on those terms and conditions.

Introduction and Interpretation. 1.1 Motif is a member of a group involved in drug discovery and development which requires which, following the U.S. Offering (as defined below), will require advisory and consultancy services in relation to the general affairs of the its obligations as a NASDAQ listed company, including advice on strategic partnership development. 1.2 Amphion is willing and able to provide such advisory and consulting services to Motif. 1.3 Motif wishes Amphion to provide the Services to Motif on the terms and conditions set out in this Agreement and Amphion agrees to provide the Services on those terms and conditions.
