INTERSTATE. Interstate directory assistance provided hereunder must have a domestic origination over Customer's circuits. Sprint may modify directory assistance prices provided in the Agreement to reflect changes in LEC directory assistance charges.
INTERSTATE. This is the form of long-distance that is defined by the originating call terminating in an adjoining State, for which long-distance carriers are usually chosen by telephone customers. Per-minute toll charges apply to these calls. The FCC regulates long distance toll service between states.
INTERSTATE. The Contractor should not simultaneously perform work on both the inside shoulder and outside shoulder on either direction of traffic flow when the Work is within 12 feet of the travel-way. Shoulders can be alternated if areas are separated by at least one-half mile of distance.

INTERSTATE. Interstate shall be liable for and shall indemnify and hold harmless the Patriot/Wyndham Group against any Taxes attributable to any member of the Interstate Group, or otherwise attributable to the Interstate Business, (i) for any taxable period (or portion thereof) beginning on or after the Distribution Date, including any liability asserted against any member of the Patriot/Wyndham Group under the provisions of Treasury Regulations section 1.1502-6 (or any comparable provision of state or local law) for Taxes attributable to a member of the Interstate Group and (ii) for any taxable period to the extent such Taxes are taken into account as current liabilities of Interstate or its Affiliates for purposes of determining working capital on the Distribution Date; provided however that the indemnity in this Section 11.2.1 shall not apply to Transaction Taxes.
INTERSTATE. CARRIER is a contract carrier which holds a permit from the Department of Transportation - Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration at Docket No. MC- , and DOT # and CARRIER is ---------------- ------------------- authorized to and shall provide motor carrier contract service (hereinafter called "Transportation Service") to meet the specific needs of ASP. CARRIER agrees to provide to ASP a copy of CARRIER'S operating authority upon execution of this Agreement. CARRIER agrees to notify ASP of any suspension, revocation, or any other changes in its operating rights at least fifteen (15) days prior to the effective date of any such suspension, revocation, or change. CARRIER further represents and warrants that it does not have a conditional or unsatisfactory safety rating issued from the United States Department of Transportation.
INTERSTATE. Interstate usage shall be charged based on two separate rate sets relating to commercial and residential End Users. When creating a new customer account, Customer shall specify whether a given End User should be charged commercial or residential rates. Residential switched service The applicable rates for residential switched interstate service are as follows: Residential outbound: $0.129 per minute (GP% = 31.4%) Residential inbound: $0.139 per minute (GP% = 31.4%) Commercial switched service - outbound Customer may elect to market switched outbound service to commercial customers at varying rates. The rates for commercial interstate outbound service, and the applicable commission percentages are as follows: $0.099 per minute (6%) $0.105 per minute (10%) $0.109 per minute (14.5%) $0.115 per minute (18%) $0.119 per minute (22%) Commercial dedicated service - outbound Customer may also elect to market dedicated outbound service to commercial customers. In such case, Customer may market at any rate above Customer's "buy" price for such service, and the commission percentage on such traffic will be calculated as the difference between the "buy" price and the rate actually charged to the End User, expressed as a percentage of such rate. INTERSTATE. New Jersey, along with the states of California, Illinois, Massachusetts, New York and Pennsylvania have formed a partnership designed to define a process for the reciprocal evaluation, acceptance and approval of environmental technologies. Through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by the Environmental Commissioners/Secretaries of all six states, the states are working toward the goal of sharing common data, review protocol and information relevant to approving or permitting environmental technologies. Working through a pilot project designed to evaluate twelve technologies, each state is identifying their particular review, approval and/or permitting requirements related to the pilot technologies. A thorough analysis of these requirements is underway to identify the similarities and differences between the states. This process will enable Partnership states to take advantage of these similarities in the approval and/or permitting process while still recognizing that site-specific conditions and individual state regulatory requirements will always be necessary. As a result of several partnership activities including the technology pilot reviews, technical workshops and industry outreach, the states will develop a Guidance Document for technology developers, vendors, users and investors. The document will provide valuable information about the technology evaluation and approval/permitting programs in all six states. Use of the Guidance Document will assist them in deploying their technologies faster and cheaper in the Partnership states. It is expected that this effort will serve as a model for other states to follow.
