INTERSTATE. This is the form of long-distance that is defined by the originating call terminating in an adjoining State, for which long-distance carriers are usually chosen by telephone customers. Per-minute toll charges apply to these calls. The FCC regulates long distance toll service between states.

INTERSTATE. The Contractor should not simultaneously perform work on both the inside shoulder and outside shoulder on either direction of traffic flow when the Work is within 12 feet of the travel-way. Shoulders can be alternated if areas are separated by at least one-half mile of distance.

INTERSTATE. Interstate shall be liable for and shall indemnify and hold harmless the Patriot/Wyndham Group against any Taxes attributable to any member of the Interstate Group, or otherwise attributable to the Interstate Business, (i) for any taxable period (or portion thereof) beginning on or after the Distribution Date, including any liability asserted against any member of the Patriot/Wyndham Group under the provisions of Treasury Regulations section 1.1502-6 (or any comparable provision of state or local law) for Taxes attributable to a member of the Interstate Group and (ii) for any taxable period to the extent such Taxes are taken into account as current liabilities of Interstate or its Affiliates for purposes of determining working capital on the Distribution Date; provided however that the indemnity in this Section 11.2.1 shall not apply to Transaction Taxes.

INTERSTATE. CARRIER is a contract carrier which holds a permit from the Department of Transportation - Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration at Docket No. MC-________________, and DOT # _______________ and CARRIER is authorized to and shall provide motor carrier contract service (hereinafter called "Transportation Service") to meet the specific needs of ASP. CARRIER agrees to provide to ASP a copy of CARRIER'S operating authority upon execution of this Agreement. CARRIER agrees to notify ASP of any suspension, revocation, or any other changes in its operating rights at least fifteen (15) days prior to the effective date of any such suspension, revocation, or change. CARRIER further represents and warrants that it does not have a conditional or unsatisfactory safety rating issued from the United States Department of Transportation.

CARRIER agrees to notify BROKER of any suspension, revocation, or any other changes in its operating rights at least fifteen (15) days prior to the effective date of any such suspension, revocation, or change.

INTERSTATE. Trading The States will establish systems for interstate trading of water to allow water to move to its highest value use, while ensuring minimal impact on other users and on the environment.
