Interpretive Facilities. The NPS and USFS shall each prepare a draft scope of work consistent with the implementing agency’s interpretive facility/publication plan for the City's consideration for each year that a fund is available, as indicated in Section
Interpretive Facilities. The City will spend up to $340,000 on new interpretive facilities, including signage, in the Project area. Of this amount, $150,000 will be spent on facilities in the RLNRA as determined by the City and the NPS, in consultation with other parties as appropriate, with the money to be allocated in six $25,000 amounts every five years, starting with the first year of the license. On the same schedule, $150,000 of the total will be spent on future projects outside the RLNRA, as determined by the City and the USFS, in consultation with other parties as appropriate. The remaining $40,000 will be spent on facilities in the Skagit Wild and Scenic River System upstream from Concrete in the first year of the new license. Section 3.2.4.3 establishes the procedure for the expenditure of these funds.
