Common use of Interpretative Rules Clause in Contracts

Interpretative Rules. The meanings given to terms defined herein will be equally applicable to both the singular and plural forms of such terms. The words “hereof,” “herein” and “hereunder” and words of similar import when used in this Agreement refer to this Agreement as a whole and not to any particular provision of this Agreement, and all section references are to this Agreement unless otherwise specified. The words “include,” “includes” and “including” will be deemed to be followed by the phrase “without limitation.” The word “days” means calendar days unless otherwise specified herein. The word “or” shall not be exclusive. Whenever the context may require, any pronoun includes the corresponding masculine, feminine and neuter forms. No provision of this Agreement shall be construed to require a party or its respective officers, directors, or affiliates to take any action that would violate or conflict with any applicable law.
