Intermediate Engineer. The Intermediate Engineer should have seven years of pertinent experience and is a member in good standing or hold a temporary permit delivered by the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec at the time the engineering services are rendered. He or she has the knowledge and skills to perform various types of work in keeping with pre-determined procedures. He or she conducts independent studies to guide his or her decisions and must use the information available judiciously. He or she refers decisions of an unusual or complex nature to the Senior Engineer.
