Common use of Interfacing Clause in Contracts

Interfacing. (a) The CM shall take such measures as are necessary to ensure proper construction and delivery of the PROJECT, including but not limited to providing that all construction requirements will be covered in the separate procurement of long lead items, the separate construction subcontracts and the general conditions items performed without duplication or overlap to maintain completion of all work on schedule. Particular attention shall be given to provide that each bid package clearly identifies the work included in that particular separate subcontract, its scheduling for start and completion and its relationship to other separate contractors. (b) Without assuming any design responsibilities for the AE, the CM shall include in the reports comments on overlap with any other separate subcontracts, omissions, lack of correlation between drawings, and any other deficiencies noted, in order that the AE may arrange for necessary corrections.
